We’ve made it to Mexico

We’ve made it to Mexico

Bicycled across the border this morning from Brownsville, TX into Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.  We pedaled to the central bus station and at the last minute caught the bus to Tampico… For $36 each to travel almost 500km.  Weather is great. Food is cheap and plentiful. Bikes are surviving being tossed into the cargo bay of the bus. We’ll see how they look and ride when we reassemble them later tonight.

Since we’re clearly not keeping up with posting in our traditional blogging, we’re going to start mixing things up and uploading vlogs or video journals when we hit Wi-Fi points along the way.  We’ll also catch back up with the existing thirty days we haven’t yet posted… Big things are coming!
